I Want to Ride My Bicycle, I Want to Ride My Bike

GUEST BLOGGER!!

I started a new job a few months ago and my coworker has some amazing dating stories! Here's one of my favorites.

This date was a set-up. They had spoken briefly to decide when and where to meet for the date, but didn't know much about each other. My friend arrived at the restaurant and the boy says irritably, "Well finally! I've been waiting forever!" Right off the bat, she knew it was going to be a date to write home about. They got their food, ate, and decided it would be best to end the date there. He had proceeded to be a ray of sunshine throughout the whole date. She was excited to never see him again. When she got up to leave he told her he'd ridden his bike there and was wondering if she'd be willing to put his bike in her car and give him a ride home. His request was declined.

Several years ago I went out with a boy who was sort of in my group of friends. I'd gotten to know him decently well over the last several months and knew he was a nice guy but that I probably wasn't interested. He asked me out and we ended up going to Chipotle then on to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. There were a few things that stood out to me on this date and I'd like to present them in list form:
* He was the worst driver I've ever had the pleasure to ride with.
* He spent a good 15-20 minutes telling me about the various types and styles of shoes he has. I believe he said he has over 200 pairs of shoes.
* I realized I'm really not into a man who has that many pairs of shoes.
* The tulips were lovely.

Short, Sweet, and to the Point

One of the recent dates I went on paid for our Jamba Juice with a gift card (I'm so glad he didn't invest too much on the date) then left 20 minutes into the date. I guess when you know, you know!
